After we have determined your intial application is complete, it is sent to our financial review team. They will be contacting you via email to address any additional questions they may have about your business. Please make sure to look for emails from applications@grantors.org

Our finance review team will thoroughly review your business finances and compile a competitive research report of your business against other similar businesses in the same geographic area. This is then added to your file and forwarded onto our programmatic review team.

Our programmatic review team may have additional questions for you related to why you would be a good grant recipient and about your business objectives/goals. They will also work to match your business application with available grants and then apply on your behalf.

Award Phase: Once we complete the application review process, the Award Phase begins. The final award decision rests solely in the hands of our grant board with fiduciary responsibility and legal authority to enter binding agreements. The Grant Board members make award recommendations based on the programmatic and financial reviews of the applications. We also request a short video submission to help us better understand your business and who you serve.

All videos will be reviewed then final recommendations for awards will be made by the Grant Board within 7 days. These recommendations are reviewed by several members to ensure high-quality, fair, and unbiased decisions.

Notice of Award (NOA):Once the final award decisions are made, we will send out a Notice of Award (NOA) to the businesses selected for funding. The NOA is the official, legally binding issuance of the award. When you or your organization accepts the grant (i.e., by signing the grant agreement or by drawing down funds) you become legally obligated to carry out the full terms and conditions of the grant.
